Aequs Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd.
The recently established Aequs Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. marks Aequs’ foray into newer frontiers. This unit specializes in the manufacture of different types of home appliances such as casseroles, designer non-stick pans, cold press juicers, super tandoor, etc., catering mainly to the domestic market across India.
Anchoring the initial stages of manufacturing operations is our esteemed customer Wonderchef Home Appliances. This quarter, we have received approvals for manufacturing coated pots and pans and have also received our first order from Wonderchef. We are simultaneously working towards finalizing other product orders with Wonderchef and other OEMs for a similar range of products. Additionally, our plant in Bengaluru has been commissioned with all equipment and laboratories and are fully operational. We are poised for commercial production during the last week of December 2020.
Fueling India’s tomorrow:
As we enter into a new phase in the country’s economic growth, with an enhanced focus on ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, these units are representative of Aequs’ strategic positioning in the consumer market (toys and home appliances), to ably leverage and contribute towards newer avenues of growth in the Indian domestic market. We are certain that in the upcoming year, the Aequs Consumer units will be the ones to write a new chapter in the growth of India’s domestic manufacturing prowess.
