I am immensely proud and happy to share with you news of our operational readiness in Koppal.
When our first client began manufacturing at Koppal, it marked a milestone in our journey and was clearly a time to celebrate – and celebrate we did. I was particularly happy to interact with the first tenant who expressed his faith in our team and its capabilities. We also took a moment to recognize the enormous effort and commitment our team has shown in Koppal to make these new beginnings possible.
As you know, the EPC World Media awards and honours the best in the fields of infrastructure, construction, environmental sustainability and safety practices. Prior to the awards function I shared how we were taking on the future by developing world-class infrastructure capabilities in India.
On to other exciting developments; about 2 months back we had engaged with toy manufacturers in Delhi and shared the opportunities for an Indian manufacturer to visualize the world as his marketplace. We are buoyed with the responses we received, and are on the cusp of closing five lakh square feet mandate in our Koppal Toy Cluster (KTC). Looking ahead, we will be increasing visibility of KTC through our participation in trade shows in Delhi, such as the Toy Expo in July at Pragati Maidan, Delhi and the Khilona Expo in August at International Trade Center, Delhi NCR.
Aequs participated in a webinar conducted with the Executive Council members of Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA); we had an engaging and fruitful discussion on the future of the consumer durable industry.
We are well and squarely on the path to creating a global manufacturing hub and meeting the challenges ahead. I have every confidence in Aequs INFRA to deliver.
