Aequs Eyes Higher Value Aircraft Parts As Airbus Supplier Launches IPO

The company launched a $102.4 million initial public offering that was fully subscribed within hours of opening on Wednesday and is eyeing a valuation of up to $923.5 million

Airbus and Boeing supplier Aequs plans to move into higher-value aircraft parts production as it looks to benefit from global planemakers increasing sourcing from India amid capacity constraints and supply chain issues, a top executive said.

Aequs also supplies Spirit AeroSystems and Safran and makes about 90 per cent of its revenue from its aerospace parts business. The company launched a $102.4 million initial public offering that was fully subscribed within hours of opening on Wednesday and is eyeing a valuation of up to $923.5 million.
