With sustainability integrated into our entire process, we have a large aerospace portfolio, manufacturing components for engine systems, landing systems, cargo and interiors, structures, assemblies, and turnings among other products. Our core capabilities span the entire value chain… from forging and machining to surface treatment, and aerostructure assembly, enabling start-to-finish production of critical, complex parts.
Aequs’ forging entity, SQuAD Forging India Pvt. Ltd., is a joint venture Aubert & Duval, a global leader in large closed-die forgings. The JV boasts of unique capabilities including a 1,200 ton screw press, a 10,000 ton hydraulic press and other associated lines for heat treatment.
Aequs’ engages in high precision detail part manufacturing of products within the Aerospace Segment from steel, titanium, aluminium, among others. Aequs hosts one of the largest precision machining capacities in India, at over 1.66 million machining hours per year with an array of 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines, with high feed rates and spindle speeds, delivering complex parts.
Aequs’ surface treatment unit, the Aerospace Processing India Pvt Ltd (API), is a joint venture with Magellan Aerospace. It provides innovative surface treatment solutions that are not readily available in India. It is the first, and only, third-party facility in India to be approved by both Airbus and Boeing.
Aequs is the first company in India to assemble Plug Doors and Over-Wing Exit Doors for commercial aircraft OEMs through its aero assemblies unit. It offers build-to-print assembly and design-to-print solutions for commercial and space programs.
