Job Title: Intern – Account Manager (M1C-Staff/M1C-Entry Level)

Position Summary:
The Intern Account Manager (Intern) assists the Account Manager who is the primary focal point for our organization to our customers and is the resident expert for each assigned customer regarding contract requirements, individual needs, lead-times, etc.
As an intern you will serve in the role of liaison and problem solver for the customer, you will be assisting in maintaining relationships with customers by ensuring that all customer requirements are completely met in a timely manner. Strives for 100% on time delivery(OTD) through proactive management of each sales order or contracted parts sale.
The Ideal candidate is goal-oriented, efficient with administering and maintaining customer orders, requirements and related data. Takes pride in the quality of their work and is a team player with excellent communication skills. The intern is also responsible for communicating customer requirements to all internal departments and stakeholders as necessary, this includes purchasing, engineering and manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Use Demand forecasting tools to create shop orders in ERP system. |
Adjust the production dates in ERP based on the Lead Times. |
Maintain Contractual safety stock on all parts and create recovery plans if below safety stock. |
Check data accuracy in orders and invoices, acknowledge purchase orders, enter orders into QTS. |
Use SQL to map historic Aircraft build rates vs part production quantity to create future orders. |
Use principles of project management on new product development projects. |
Manage and coordinate short flow, AOG, Priority requirements, negotiating due dates when on-time delivery is in jeopardy. |
Produce monthly sales forecasts, as well as weekly variance reports based Supply and Demand. |
Use Lean Principles to liaison between customers and plant personnel where required to facilitate flow of materials, tooling, paperwork, etc. (in and between work centers and support staff). |
Identify potential problems, analyze and propose alternatives for resolution for any issues that may jeopardize on- time delivery or quality of a part. |
Communicate delivery status to stake holders through appropriate customer defined methods. |
Coordinate, facilitate, attend and be productive in meetings. |
Work well under pressure; meeting multiple and sometimes competing(internal) deadlines. |
At all times, demonstrate cooperative and civil behavior with co-workers, supervisors and customers. |
Participates in company(OJT) training as required. |

Qualifications:
Proven work/educational experience in demand forecasting and aggregate production planning. Hands on experience with ERP software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
Understanding of Pricing and revenue management. |

Must have ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks simultaneously. |
Must be able to interface with all departments within the company, as well as multi-cultural internal and external customers. |

Education / Experience:
Master’s in industrial Engineering or master’s in engineering management preferred. Equivalents Degrees’ will be considered.
