Aequs offers build-to-print assemblies capabilities for commercial and defense aircraft through its group company Aerostructures Assemblies India Pvt Ltd. AAI is a joint venture between Aequs and Saab AB of Sweden and is located in Aequs SEZ, Belagavi, Karnataka, India. The company specializes in build-to-print assemblies for commercial and defense aircraft for emerging markets and is ideally positioned to harness defense offset opportunities in the Indian market. Leading Edge Assemblies

Leading Edge also known as Baseline in the Aerospace Industry are the slats on edge of the wings of an aircraft. Different process that are involved in these assemblies are – drilling, reaming, CSK, interfay sealing & wet installation of rivets, riveting, rivet head milling, anchor nut installation, electrical bonding, paint touch up. Along with AS 9100C, AAIPL has the required Airbus process qualifications for all the assembly process called in these packages.


Aequs is also involved in assembling Helicoil, Bushes and Riveting which are some of the binding parts in an aircraft that fastens two or more components by screwing or riveting.
